 Profoss interviews  Digium's  Director of Software Kevin P. Fleming.  Although many of us know that Asterisk is constantly being updated many might find it suprising that no real testing is done with the Open Source version. Here is a quote from Kevin " We do not do formal testing on open source Asterisk, other than to ensure that the code base compiles properly and produces what appears to be a working result". That's right all you Asterisk Open Source users, we are all beta testers!

SimplePBX Update

It's been a while since I have released a new version of SimplePBX but I am still working on it. One of the major things I wanted to figure out was which to direction to take the software in. Most of the Asterisk systems out there are of the single tenant variety. This however seems to be enough for most users and I really don't want to waste any time duplicating existing systems.
